Velcane is an established family owned business based in the picturesque village of Wheldrake, on the outskirts of York.

We pride ourselves in offering good value and good old fashioned service.

In addition to our standard ranges, we offer a bespoke tailor made service so please contact us, or better still, call in and visit our showrooms. All of our pine furniture is of solid pine construction with dove tailed joints, pinned and glued. The furniture is unfinished, so enabling you to have the stain or colour of your choice with matt, silk or gloss finishes including waxed. Our cane suites come with an extensive range of cushion fabrics and we offer a replacement cushion service. There is also a wide range of cane accessories i.e. coffee tables, drawer units, plant stands and shelf units.
