Our cushions are manufactured here in the UK from a wide range of fabrics to enhance our frames. Fabrics are available in two grades, Standard and Premier and are treated with fire retardant to British Standards. Fabric may be purchased separately, by the metre, for curtains and other soft furnishings. Scatter cushions are available in a variety of styles and fabrics. Back cushions are baffled and filled with conjugated hollow fibre.

All our base cushions are made from Vitafoam Reflex foam with a Dacron wrap, which returns the seat pad to its original shape after use. This prevents sagging and enhances the appearance and comfort. Look for the REFLEX Vitafoam label. If it isn’t showing on a competitor’s product, it isn’t provided and inferior foam has been used. This is an easy and hidden way to reduce the manufacturing cost of the cushions but the comfort, appearance and durability will be seriously compromised.

All our cushions are fully piped as standard. This is frequently or partially omitted with other manufacturers, or available as an expensive option often adding significantly to the retail price of a suite. Piping improves and maintains the profile and shape of the cushions, which enhances the look of the whole product, not just the cushions.

In preference to steel springs, which may mark and imprint the cushions, our sprung bases built into chair and sofa frames, utilize fabric covered elasticated webbing, giving superior support.

By using these materials, we are confident of providing furniture that is supremely comfortable and durable.
