Desser and Company Limited has a proud heritage stretching back over four generations of the same family.
The fascinating story starts in the dark days of World War I when, as a young British soldier, Issac Desser, was posted to serve on the front line in Belgium. It was here that he came into contact with Flemish craftsman who were producing various types of basketware . . . and an idea was born......
Now in the fourth generation of our family business, originally founded in 1919, the Directors of Desser & Company remain as passionate about quality, service and style as ever.
Heading towards our second century we’re thrilled to be introducing new materials and designs whilst sticking to our principles of good old-fashioned customer care and design excellence.
