Alf Vass (Director)

Alf educated himself through the ranks of retail by drawing experience from many large organisations, by having furniture shops throughout both Yorkshire and the UK.

Alf now aged 80 continues with Velcane Furniture outlet and prides himself on the sales and finance of the company.

Nick Vass (Director)

After qualifying from university with a degree in art from both York & Sheffield, Nick has not only an academic skills set to draw from but a natural artistic flair that he has tuned through years of design experience.

Having a naturally active and artistic mind Nick runs all workshops in the bespoke areas of Velcane and will design and creates pieces of furniture to customer’s specifications and colour.

Nick also partners his father in Velcane as company director.

Dom Vass (Sales Executive)

After completing his education Dom has been enlisted into sales and retail within business, after working in telesales for a food distribution company. Dom went on to work for a nutrition health and body building company before joining the family business in 2010.

Dom partners up with the team in sales and is the Velcane office administrator
